Veronica participates in economic research projects using data analytics. She has also experience in environmental economics and green finance, since she worked as a member of the Sustainable Finance Committee in Mexico.
Prior to joining Agon, Verónica worked in financial regulation, especially in the area of Securities Regulation, under the Regulatory Development unit within Mexico´s Banking and Securities Comision (CNBV), where she worked mainly with issuing companies, investment funds, brokerage houses and stock exchange entities.
She obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from El Colegio de México (Colmex) with the degree thesis “Analysis of carbon tax in Mexico and its environmental impact”.
Languages: Spanish, English and French.
