Sebastian Corcuera Habsburg L.
Sebastián leads projects in all areas of antitrust law. He has represented clients before the Mexican Competition Commission (Cofece) and the Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) in merger control cases, and in complex unilateral conduct, barriers to competition and cartel investigations. He served as head of the Competition Committee at the National Bar of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE) for the years running 2019-2020.
He worked as an associate at a renowned law firm in Mexico City, where he performed consulting and litigation tasks related to competition law, corporate law, constitutional trial (juicio de amparo), and administrative and regulatory proceedings.
Sebastian holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and an LLM in Competition Law from King’s College London in the United Kingdom. He lectures on Law and Economics at Universidad Anáhuac Norte.
