Luis Gaytan Morales
Luis Alberto has focused his professional practice on the advisory and litigation of foreign trade and customs matters, focusing on Free Trade Agreements, Agreements of the World Trade Organization, defense against unfair trade practices (dumping), as well as authorizations and programs for the promotion of foreign trade.
Luis Alberto also specializes in administrative procedures before the Tax Authorities, the Ministry of Economy and several other institutions of the Federal Government, in the context of customs and foreign trade matters.
Before joining AGON, Luis Alberto worked for over 10 years in a foreign trade and customs law firm in Mexico.
He obtained his law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, with honors, as well as a Master’s Degree in International Law from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey; a degree in Monetary and Financial Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and more recently a Diploma in International Trade Negotiations from El Colegio de México.
