Ana Paula Portilla Ariza

Ana Paula has participated as counsel on projects related to all aspects of the Mexican Federal Competition Law. She has advised on national and international merger control cases, investigations for abuse of dominance and cartels, investigations for barriers to competition and essential inputs, trial-like procedures, immunity requests, favorable opinions of cross participation, and implementation of compliance programs.

Ana Paula earned her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, graduating with honors. She has a Masters of Laws (LL.M) in Competition and Innovation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

She also has a Diploma on Competition from the Universidad Panamericana (UP), conducted by the Mexican Competition Commisssion (COFECE), the Mexican Telecommunications Institute (IFT) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
