Thalía has been AGON’s Executive Director since October 2013, when the firm started operations. She was Audits Superintendent at Pemex Exploration and Production from 2011 to 2013 and responsible of the Audits Unit of Pemex Refinación in the Northern Zone from 2010 to 2011.
From 2008 to 2010 she was advisor to the Secretary of Civil Service (“Función Pública”). Her responsibilities included, among other, coordinating and monitoring strategic projects of the Secretariat, as well as providing consultancy on strategic affairs concerning policies to combat corruption and streamline government processes.
Between 2002 and 2007, she was Subdirector for Good Government of the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (Internal Revenue System), and worked in the International Logistics area of Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from El Colegio de México and an MBA from the Applied Sciences University of Reutlingen, Germany (Fachhochschule Reutlingen).
