Alberto is currently senior associate in Agon. He was Chief of Staff of the Information and Knowldege Society Coordination of the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation between 2012 and 2014, where he participated in the design and implementation of México Conectado (the government’s connectivity program for public buildings), the coordination of the first digital Agenda of the Mexican government, and other federal government programs to promote access and better use of ICTs. He has worked as a consultant in the design and evaluation of public policies in various sectors. The projects in which he has participated included impact evaluations of social programs and socio-economic profitability of investment projects. He has done projects for Oliver Wyman, Intellego, Ainda Consultants, the Mexican Chamber of the Radio and Television Industry (CIRT) and the National Council for Evaluation of Social Development Policy (CONEVAL).

He has studies in economics and political science from the Insituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
